It seems the U.S. dodged another bullet when it comes to gasoline prices, Hurricane Arlene is making it's way through the Gulf of Mexico without causing any major problems or closures on the oilrigs in that region. But there still is an upward pressure on the price of gasoline at the pumps.
National Average for Regular Unleaded Gasoline has increased to $2.127 another 3/10's of a Cent since yesterday.
Crude Oil sold at a high of $55 a barrel settling at $53.54 on the day, which leads me to think this price range is going to be here for the near term.
